Trademarks
All product names throughout the website and catalog are registered trademarks
of their respective holders. If you find any trademarks on this web site that
have not been properly identified, please notify us and we'll immediately take
appropriate steps to correct it.

Payment methods accepted by Semroc.com
Our payment policy is fair to both ourselves and our customers. We strive
to provide high quality service and products, and work hard to ensure that you
receive value for your dollar. Semroc.com accepts the following payment
methods
American Express, Visa, Master
Card, Discover, PayPal, Personal Checks, Money Orders, and Purchase Orders. Sorry,
we do not accept COD’s.
Credit Card Information:
We use Authorize.net for our Credit Card transactions.
For your security, we verify all credit cards to the billing
address. Please make sure the billing address you entered is where you receive
your credit card statement. You do have the option of shipping your order to any location, however, if the billing address does not match the address associated
with the card you provide your order will not be processed.
Personal Checks:
We accept personal checks. Please make all checks payable to Semroc Astronautics Corp. Please make sure you include your order number with
your payment. All personal checks are held for 10 business days to allow the
check to clear. This is 10 business days after we receive the check, not from
the day you mail your check. Please allow for the additional delay in shipping
for all check orders.
PayPal:
We accept PayPal. We can also accept Credit Cards or bank transfers
through PayPal. Please make all payments
to paypal@semroc.com.
Money Orders:
We accept money orders. Please make all money
orders to Semroc Astronautics Corp. Please make sure you include your order number with
your payment.
Purchase Orders:
Semroc does accept Purchase Orders from Schools and Businesses. We DO NOT accept P.O.'s from
individuals. We have a minimum P.O. amount of $100.00. Additionally we must
receive a faxed copy of the P.O. before we can ship your order.
Semroc pays U.S. Postage on your Order*
Semroc will ship your order postpaid* anywhere in the U.S. by regular
surface mail, first class, priority mail, or FedEx Ground, at our option, unless
otherwise requested. During checkout you will have the option to select the appropriate
ship method on the order form. On the "Shipping Method" form you may type any
special instructions you have such as a specific date you would like your order
to arrive. Please allow 24-48 hours for your order to be processed. Most
deliveries reach their destinations within 7 to 8 business days of our receipt
of your order. Sales tax will be added to your total for addresses in North
Carolina (7%). Rush Shipping is available only for items in-stock. For FedEx shipping, use STREET addresses
(no PO Boxes, APO/FPO’s) Phone number required. After making a purchase, simply
log in through the My Account menu, find your order and click on the "Invoice
Number" (i.e. SA-001). From the "View Orders" page you can check the
status of your order and see if it has shipped.
*This does not include some quantity discount orders or international orders.
There is a minimum order amount of $10.00.
Are my communications with Semroc private?
Your privacy is very important to us! We declare that no
information volunteered to us will be divulged to ANY third party, and that all
information will be used solely for our own customer service purposes and to the
extent necessary to complete your order. As a customer of ours, you will find
that you can order products, make requests, and register to receive materials.
The types of personal information collected at these pages can include your
name, address, e-mail address, phone numbers, and credit/debit card information.
This information is only used to the extent necessary to complete your order. We
do use our profiles to help provide better services to our customers which may
occasionally involve sending you e-mail regarding new product offerings or
changes to our existing products. If you do not wish to receive such contact,
you may opt out by simply answering the e-mail with REMOVE typed in the body of
the message. We never sell, rent or share our customer information with outside
parties. Please note that Semroc.com will cooperate with law enforcement
officials when compelled to do so through a court order or other legal means.
Persons engaged in objectionable or illegal activity that involves us in any way
are not subject to this policy.
What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a Web site can send to a user's
browser for storage on the hard drive. Cookies can make use of the Web easier by
saving status and preferences about a Web site. Most browsers are initially set
to accept cookies but users can change the setting to refuse cookies or to be
alerted when cookies are being sent. The Semroc.com shopping cart software uses
Session Cookies to create the cart and account session. Because of this your
browser must have Session Cookies enabled. You do not need to enable 3rd Party
Cookies. This is the default setting on all browsers. Though it is possible for
you to browse Semroc.com, you will not be able to purchase any of our great
products. Please set your browser to accept Session Cookies. Semroc respects
your privacy and does not use cookies on your machine except to process your
order.
Security Policy
Because Semroc.com takes your privacy very seriously, our web
site uses Secure Sockets Layering (SSL) to encrypt your personal credit
information, including your credit card number, before it travels over the
Internet. SSL technology is the industry standard for secure online
transactions. Because we use SSL, placing an order online at one of our web site
is just as safe as giving your credit card number over the phone. Semroc.com
takes online fraud very seriously and cooperates with Federal authorities to
prosecute anyone attempting to use stolen credit cards to purchase products from
this web site. All suspected orders will immediately be turned over to the FBI
and the Internet Fraud Complaint Center. Semroc reserves the right to request
additional information. If this is needed, we will contact you by e-mail or
telephone. Your order will be processed as soon as we receive the requested
information by telephone, fax, or e-mail.
What if my order is late?
We attempt to keep our online inventory as up-to-date as possible to prevent
you from ordering kits and parts that are out of stock. We will ship your order
as quickly as possible, however, on occasion a product may be temporarily out of
stock. If so, we will notify you within 30 days that there will be a delay and
give you the option to wait for or cancel your order. Should you choose to wait
, your order will be filled as soon as possible, but in no event later than 60
days from receipt of your order, without your express consent.
Parental consent
If a child under the age of 13 wants to provide any information online, Semroc must
have a Permission Form from their parent or guardian. This is a requirement of the FTC's Children's Online
Privacy Protection Act. Please click here to print out, fill in and mail or fax to Semroc. This needs to be done only once.
If a child under 13 years of age wants to subscribe to the "Online Astronautic Modeler" or join the Semroc® Space Society online, he/she will need his/her
parent or guardian's Permission Form on file at Semroc.
